Nothing too dramatic here. Just came to say I'm likely to flag a few of the older lore articles as "Archived," and remove them from showing up mixed in with everything else if that's possible. Simply put I kinda rushed to make a few lore articles just to have some, thinking I'd update them later even if I wasn't entirely confident they were all that good, only to now kinda be leaning on the idea of just replacing them entirely, if only because I don't remember what I had initially wrote all too well and would likely butcher it in the process of trying to update it. A few things that come to mind (and i can use this as a test for in-text links so that's nice too):
1) Ethereality/Corporeality document just kinda became a mess. It went on too long discussing specific cases rather than the overarching concept, which could have covered those cases by linking to articles regarding those cases. The article was dominated by how each Undead variety (which are themselves still being fleshed out) ranks on the scale rather than the scale itself. This really has me thinking I need to take a much more bottom-up approach- I feel leaving overarching concepts unspecified (especially ones that you can glean the jist of it from using only the name) and starting with detailing assorted species will be a better strategy in the future, to avoid a temptation to ramble.
2) The article on the 30x150mm caliber is also likely to be subject to archival. While I don't remember any particularly glaring changes, after some thought, ADB's default fixed-wing gun is likely to end up as a revolver cannon firing from two barrels with a two-chambered cylinder each (so, arguably, two revolver cannons that have a linked feed, if you wanna be that way, but then again you could probably make a functional firearm from 1/nth of a n-barrel rotary cannon anyways). Thus, the RAC-30-3 mentioned is no longer canon, and the rationale for its use is a bit different. The cartridge will remain dimensionally identical though.
3) I'll have to think about it but the C-Crisis document may also need enough small but pervasive tweaking to warrant me to rather replace it outright out of convenience, so similar to the previous.
I hope changing the names to reflect archival doesn't change the URLs, that could be a pain.
The first one is on the chopping block immediately because it is cringe.
